How Do You Know When Its The Right Time To Say It...
24th-Jan-2005 07:20 am(no subject)
Throughout life I've learned that you can be hurt even when you're not in love...kisses aren't contracts. You think you may know someone, and come to find out they're completely different. Even the best of friends may hurt you the most. Don't waste your time worrying about those that won't worry about you. And never regret something that once made you smile. Never regret anything that you did, because at one point in time you were doing exactly what you wanted.

Im In Love....
5th-Jan-2005 03:11 pm - I Had Some Time On my Hands....

In every generation there have been those who answerd the call to defend freedom, oppose tyranny, and free the oppressed. All gave some, some gave all. They were with us then they are with us now.

They love...A Soldier is welcomed home by family members in Asheville, N.C., after more than 15 months deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Soldier is assigned to the 210th Military Police Company, North Carolina Army National Guard. This photo appeared on www.army.mil.

                                                                                        They Yearn...

They Prepare...Staff Sgt.                                                                                        They Pray...

They fight...  A squad leader shouts orders to his men during squad tactics training on Kursah Range in Iraq.                                                              They comfort...

                                                                                       Sometimes....

They die. A Soldier stands watch over a casket containing the body fo former President Ronald Reagan. The Soldier is assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry, "The Old Guard," based on Fort Myer, Va. Reagan’s body was flown to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, and he received a state funeral Friday. This photo appeared on www.army.mil.

Yes, these same brave souls are with us today, but whats more important is that we are with them.

Support The Troops :)

1st-Jan-2005 06:01 pm - Everything Happens For a Reason
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be; your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere...safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience, are the ones who create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from...those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious about whom you open your heart to.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you but also because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to

three words in a sentence that can make the difference of a lifetime to someone,
a three sylable sentence that can make a person cry, smile, or run,
these eight letters are what everyone longs to hear and feel.
I love you... how can those three words have such an impact on me and you?
Those three words, three sylables, eight letters are what explains and defines the emotion that cannot be defined, explained, or forgotten.

For all that is lost one day will be found.
